I Remember

I remember my brother spraying me in the face with a fire extinguisher taken from a bulldozer in a construction site near our house. Surprised by a cloud of white dust when I came around a corner, I immediately fell backwards and played dead. I succeeded in tricking my brother into thinking he killed me.

I remember wading around under a bridge when I was 10 or 11 when I saw the biggest spider I have ever seen - I ran like hell. The thing must have been 6 or 7 inches in diameter.

I remember when I outgrew my first bike, a Huffy with a banana seat. I ended up riding my mom or dads bike for a while, mom’s bike was a little emasculating with its baby seat on the back.
