I Remember

I remember being in second grade and chickening out and not going to the “Jack and the Beanstalk” play auditions at my elementary school. In the weeks of rehearsal that followed, I would ask to take a bathroom break and peek through the gym doors to watch the rehearsal. This is my first memory of regret because I very much wished I had tryed out.

I remember my swim coach throwing a pizza party when I was seven or eight years old. That’s my first memory of pizza.
