I Remember

I remember flying kites with my brother and attaching GIJoe action figures to the kite. When the kite was high enough we would jerk the kite so they would “bail out”.

I remember waking up to the sound of seagulls and the ocean only a block away.

I remember seeing Pearl Jam play on MTV unplugged in 1992. This was the first time I had heard and seen them play and I remember the music being so strikingly different from everything else that was popular at the time. I was at my then girlfriend’s house and was passing the tv and became transfixed by their acoustic set.
