I Remember

I remember dressing as a pirate for Halloween 1987 or 88. I remember running across someone’s yard only to trip on one of those wires that holds saplings straight. I went down so hard and so did all my candy, but like a good pirate, I didn’t cry.

I remember my aunt having a huge trampoline in her back yard. Her sons had dug the ground out underneath because they would jump so hard, they would hit the ground.
