I Remember

I remember my parents sitting me down to tell my my great grandmother had died. I was 11 and it was September of 1986.

I remember this kid on the bus in 7th grade, he seemed very tall to me, had patchy facial hair, and had awful B.O.

I remember my first time being alone. My mother left me alone in the house for a few minutes when I was 4. I went to the fridge, retrieved an egg, and ran out to the woods behind the house. I threw the egg against a tree.
