Crab apple

I remember the crab apple tree in the neighbor’s yard. Being only 3 or 4 years old I wanted to eat the apples, but the neighbor stopped me before I could poison myself.

Oh man, you missed out on all the sour goodness! Crab apples aren’t poisonous at all. (I see on the 9rules forum that you already discovered that though, ha!) What a shame your neighbor was ill-informed. You will have to make a point of chowing down on some crab apples someday. My cousin and I used to knock them off a tree in her yard and eat them like candy.
