I remember an embrace by a large, arched window as drunks shuffled on the streets below.

This is a fantastic site! Some of the imagery and metaphors here remind me of Basho and also Blake’s “to see a world in a grain of sand”. I wonder if you’ve considered opening it up to public submission? Memories ad infinitum!
