Hermit crabs

I remember having hermit crabs for pets and thinking they were the coolest thing ever.

I remember that we once lost a Hemit crab in the house. We kept them in a second floor kid’s bedroom. About a month later I found it in the basement in a pile of laundry ready for the washing machine.
Again..Dad to the rescue. It survived until old age.
