Liberty Bell

I remember touching the Liberty Bell.

The closest I ever got to the Liberty Bell was during a trip to Philly with my wife. We were there for a business trip and instead of going to church on a Sunday morning, we decided to take the opportunity to stroll about town. (We were busy the entire time there and while we’d been there before, we’d never actually gone to see the town.) Turns out the Bell was only a mile from where we were staying, so we saw that and a few of of the other sites. This was my first real encounter with Revolutionary-era history.

That’s great. Philly has a special place in my heart as that’s where my family would spend a couple weeks each summer. My extended family lives there so growing up we say many of the historical sites like this one.
