World map

I remember staring at the world map (mercator projection) above my bed when I was a boy. I always thought the world looked like an elf (the americas and greenland) being chased by a bull (africa, europe and asia).

Given the way the world’s shaping up, that may proove to be quite a prophetic vision...though I sincerely hope not.

Have thoroughyly enjoyed your posts. I too like ‘memories’ and have preserved them by keeping journals over several years (dating back to 1971). I have also started a web log on Diaries at the following address: http://secretlives.wordpress.com . I’ll be back.
