I Remember

I remember my final moments with my grandfather while he was still living. No longer could he speak coherently but he could walk around. His shoe was irritating him so I helped him adjust it. The other day I wondered if I should have taken advantage of that moment and told him I loved him. It’s incredibly hard to believe he’s gone.
